TEN HOURS TEN MINUTES (2019)
In a city that moves fast, I’m drawn to stillness. Time spent in Rockaway revealed a paradox: slowing down expands experience. On May 18, 2019, I camped overnight on the beach beneath a full moon, capturing one long-exposure photograph each hour from dusk to dawn. These ten images are composited into a 10-minute looping video—compressing time while encouraging stillness.
Sit. Breathe. Watch time unfold.
Installation: digital video composite of 10 digital images; sound: “Unfamiliar Winds (Leeks Hills)” by Brian Eno
