“Aurora” takes its name from both the natural phenomenon of shifting light in the sky and the word for dawn—the moment when darkness yields to day. This piece is inspired by the enchanted palette that appears in these transitions: deep indigos, glowing reds, and flickers of gold that capture the wonder of a sky in motion.
